The Situation

Lanjew Park is situated 400 yards off the parish road, a short distance from Lanjew farmhouse. An ideal situation if you seek complete seclusion, where parents can relax and children play safely with no traffic worries. Lanjew is a 250-acre family run mixed farm.   The main A30 is just 2 miles away, making the whole County very accessible .   The acclaimed Eden Project, the Camel Trail and Newquay, Britain's surf capital, all within easy reach.   Harlyn, Padstow, Trevone, Treyarnon Bay 10 miles car journey on the North Cornish coast - all safe and ideal for sailing, surfing, swimming and fishing.   Bodmin Moor begins 6 miles North.   Whilst in the countryside essential facilities 4 miles away, and country inns 2 miles.   The market town of Wadebridge 5 miles.

The Accommodation
Furnished and decorated to a high standard the house has the living rooms on the first floor to gain advantage of views. The entrance to the property is by granite steps to first floor, leading to entrance hall with W.C. 
The well equipped kitchen is designed to be labour-saving, with electric built-in oven and hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, fridge/freezer, sandwich toaster and all the necessary electrical appliances.
Comfortable lounge with colour television,DVD, video recorder with a selection of videos and radio. The lounge has a sofa bed to accommodate 1 or 2 extra persons if required. Downstairs - 2 double bedrooms, one with French doors to the garden, each with washbasin, shaver point. One bedroom with single and bunk beds. All with fitted carpets and wardrobes.
Bathroom with bath, washbasin, full shower and toilet. Hairdryer supplied. 

To encourage that out-of-season holiday, when Cornwall still has much to offer, there is central heating throughout the house, open fire in the lounge (one bag of coal included in rental) plus electric blankets on double beds. All heating and electricity is included in the rental.

Cot, highchair, grocery orders and babysitting all arranged on request. Large gardens with swings, sandpit, picnic tables and barbecue. Ample Parking.
Bed linen included in rental.  Towels available on request.

We have set ourselves high standards to help our guests enjoy their holiday - a warm welcome, tasteful furnishing, well equipped house and a friendly, relaxing atmosphere.

Lanjew Park is ideally positioned, being just 2 miles from the main A30 road it is within easy reach of many of Cornwall's major attractions. Virtually anywhere in Cornwall can be reached within an hour's drive.

Just a few of the many places of interest, both entertaining and historic, which will provide enjoyable experiences for all the family:

The Eden Project, a global garden for the 21st century and beyond, recreating the tropics and Mediterranean in domes so huge that one even includes a 75 ft waterfall!

The Lost Gardens of Heligan, near St Austell/Mevagissey, very popular and well worth a visit.

Lanhydrock House, near Bodmin. 17th Century great house of Cornwall with fine gardens.

Pencarrow House, near Bodmin. Georgian House with 50 acres of woodland walks.

The Camel Trail, hire a bike or bring your own and explore the beautiful Camel River, from Dunmere near Bodmin to Padstow at its mouth.

Newquay, Cornwall's premier holiday resort, excellent beaches, restaurants, amusements, zoo, Water World, aquarium, gardens.

Mevagissey, a genuine old fishing port with its labyrinth of fascinating narrow streets and Cornish cottages. Mackerel, shark fishing and ferry to Fowey from here.

Bodmin Moor, desolate granite moorland overlooked by summit of brown Willy, Cornwall's highest point.

Falmouth, Cornwall's largest port and the world's third largest natural harbour.  It's colourful maritime heritage is enshrined in it's waterfront and the National  Maritime Museum.
