The Situation
Cotswold House Hotel is a small family run Victorian hotel ideally situated within a few minutes walk of Falmouth’s beautiful beaches and harbour and also Falmouth's latest major attraction, The Cornwall Maritime Museum. The town centre with its picturesque cobbled streets, is again within easy walking distance.
The Accommodation
Ten bedrooms all benefiting from full en-suite facilities including colour television, tea/coffee tray and hair dryer. Many rooms enjoy superb sea and river views.

A choice of home-cooked, traditional, vegetarian or continental-style food is offered. Prepared to the highest standards from fresh ingredients, dinner is a substantial four-course meal with coffee and mints to follow.

To compliment your meal, a comprehensive wine list is available on request. Bar meals available all the year round.


Enjoy a pre or after dinner drink in the surroundings of our residents' bar and private patio.

Experience the maritime charm of this most beautiful town. As the premier resort of West Cornwall, Falmouth's four main beaches are second to none. Falmouth benefits from the warm air of the Gulf Stream creating a sub-tropical environment in which plants thrive.

A variety of restaurants, bistros, specialist shops and notable historic buildings abound. The Falmouth Art Centre, the Falmouth Art Gallery, the Cornwall Maritime Museum are all well worth a visit and only just a five minute walk away. Also close-by is the Princess Pavilion which has an extensive programme of exhibitions, concerts and theatrical events.

The vast and spectacular gardens of Trelissick, Glendurgans and Trebah are all within easy reach.

Nearby amenities include, an excellent golf course with stunning views, water ski-ing, sailing, wind surfing, scuba diving, fishing, bowls, horse riding and boat trips. A popular boat trip is up the Truro River to Truro, spend a few hours shopping before making the return journey.

Going further afield Falmouth is an ideal base from which to explore both the Roseland and Lizard Peninsulas. The Lost Gardens of Heligan , the Eden Project and the north Cornwall coast.
