The Situation
Situated on one of the main roads into Newquay. Out of the hustle and bustle of the town centre yet only a short distance from all amenities.
The Accommodation
The proprietors offer a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in which guests can enjoy their holiday, many of which return on a regular basis.
All bedrooms are comfortably furnished, some en-suite, all have a colour television, refreshment tray, hair dryer and central heating. The Accommodation includes a ground floor bedroom.
Alicia offers a full English breakfast with a wide variety of choices to start your day. The portions have been described as a holiday from your diet. (special diets catered for).
Guests are welcome to relax at the end of the day in the comfortable lounge or in the conservatory.
The proprietors respectfully requests their guests to refrain from smoking in the guest house.

Newquay is famous for its beaches of which there are many to choose from. all have soft golden sand, some have sand dunes, some with wild surf, others more sheltered. The closest to Alicia is Newquay Porth which is one of the more sheltered.
The town offers many attractions, good shopping, restaurants, pubs, night clubs, tea rooms, a zoo, swimming baths, aquarium, boat trips, fishing, golf, tennis. Whatever your interests your hosts Mike and Alison will be only too happy to help.
Going slightly further afield there are many beautiful gardens to explore.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan. "The garden restoration of the century" (Times Newspaper).
The Eden Project. We are ideally situated for visiting the Eden Project which is being hailed as the eighth wonder of the world.
Charlestown where famous Tall Ships can be photographed and explored when they are not on film location.
The Cathedral City of Truro and the resorts of Padstow, St Ives and Lands End are all within an easy drive.

HOW TO GET TO US
Exit M5 at junction 31, signed A30 Oakhampton, continue on A30 for approximately 80 miles.
You will then come to a large roundabout, take the second exit signed A30 Redruth.
Along this road on your left hand side you will pass a BP Garage and Little Chef.
Further along this road you will go under a bridge that has black and yellow marking on it.
After the bridge approximately 400 yards on the left hand side there is a sign for, St Columb, Airport, A3059. Turn right here and follow this road until you come to another roundabout, take second exit and keep on this road, you will pass airport on your right hand side.
At the end of this road you will come to a T junction, signed Newquay, Town Beaches, A3058. Turn right along this road, you will go through two sets of pedestrian crossings with lights, approximately 100 yards after second set the road bends slightly, just after this bend you should see our sign on your left hand side, you have arrived.
