The hotel is tastefully furnished and all bedrooms have en-suite facilities complete with colour television and refreshment tray.
Standing in pleasant gardens with extensive views, Howards Hotel is conveniently situated only a short distance from the golden sands of Carbis Bay Beach and within easy reach of the old town of St Ives.
Car Parking is no problem, there is ample free Parking in the hotel grounds to the front and rear.
In an area of outstanding natural beauty, Carbis Bay is the perfect spot for a truly happy and carefree holiday. As well as the beach at Carbis Bay, there are other safe, sandy beaches in and around St Ives, such as the well known surfing beach at Porthmeor. We are proud of our reputation for good food, comfort and service. At your table in our spacious dining room you will enjoy the best of English Fayre generously served. To compliment the good meal we offer a selection of wines & beers. We are please to cater for any special diets by prior arrangement.
For your further enjoyment, entertainment will be provided most evenings during the summer.
The outdoor heated swimming pool (open May to September) and sun patio is an ideal place to relax, lap up the sun and enjoy a poolside drink, a tasty bar meal or even a traditional Cornish Cream tea.
Our attractive lounge bar is well stocked with real ales, draught & bottled beers, wines and spirits and offers an opportunity to relax with family or friends over a welcoming aperitif before dinner as well as to enjoy a friendly drink during the evening. The pool table and darts provide further relaxation.
Transport can be provided for guests wishing to go on walks, or to be collected at the end of a walk.
The train station at Carbis Bay is only a short distance and transport can be provided by arrangement.
About St.Ives
One of the most popular resorts in Cornwall, looking around St Ives it is not difficult to see why people return year after year. Famous for its beauty it has much to offer. Little cobbled streets with an abundance of restaurants, shops, pubs and art galleries, including the Tate, the Barbara Hepworth Museum and the Bernard Leach Pottery. From the picturesque harbour fishing boats can be seen unloading the days catch. The beaches are some of the best in Cornwall offering little coves to the wide open spaces for surfing.

South West Coast Path National Trail
The South West Coast Path is Britain's longest national promoted route. A continuous path covering 630 miles, it runs from Minehead in Somerset to Poole in Dorset and includes all the coastline of Devon & Cornwall with spectacular and dramatic scenery. the hotel is situated just off the path, so is an ideal place to stay if you are planning to walk all or some of it.
St Ives town:
One of the most popular resorts in Cornwall, a favourite with artists made evident with all the galleries including the Tate. (Just a few minutes walk)
The town itself is a maze of quaint little cobbled streets with High street shops, a wide variety of speciality shops, a selection of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms.
Four main beaches surround the town, from safe bathing in the harbour for young children to surfing the Atlantic rollers. (The main surfing beach is directly opposite the house)
Cliff walks directly from the guest house can be enjoyed starting almost immediately you leave the house.
