Cornwall's last days (Cornwall)

Self Catering Cornwall -

Cornwall's last days
It was my mother's idea. Her initial research, in fact, was faultless - she rang around friends who universally recommended the St Endoc as being the sort of hotel that could provide the perfect multi-generational holiday in Cornwall. Unfortunately, it was full.

Travel warning as ice hits
Motorists are being warned to travel only if necessary tonight as more icy conditions are expected across England and Wales. The Highways Agency is gritting and treating major roads, but said another night of traffic chaos cannot be ruled out if people do not heed their warnings.

Work starting on healing garden
Work begins on a new 35,000 healing garden at a Cornwall hospital to help mental health patients.

Football: AFC focus on Vase
AFC Sudbury step into the unknown on Saturday when South Western League Bodmin Town visit King's Marsh Stadium for an FA Vase third round game (3pm).

HAPPY HIDEAWAYS
GATHER family and friends for a New Year to remember by booking a cottage or holiday home. But get your skates on as everyone wants to get in on the act.
