The Situation
For many years Kinbrae was run as a small private hotel, with hundreds of satisfied guests, many of whom returned time and time again.
Kinbrae has now been tastefully converted into luxury self catering apartments which will offer you the freedom of self catering with the standards of our hotel.
The aim is to guarantee satisfaction, your recommendation and return.

The apartments are ideally situated for your holiday being just 200 yards from Falmouth's main sandy beach and less than 100 yards from the Princess Pavilion and Biergarten which have great family shows and entertainments every night.
The town and harbour with its wide selection of fine restaurants and cafes is only a few minutes walk away. There are regular boat trips which leave from the Custom House Quay and the Prince of Wales Pier up the rivers Fal and Helford, also there is a ferry boat service to St Mawes.

The Accommodation
There are four apartments all decorated and furnished to a very high standard and will sleep 2-4 persons.
The proprietors Jean and Neil live on the premises and are available to give advice and assistance should you require it.
The apartments are cleaned personally by the proprietors and will be spotless for your arrival.

How to find us
Travelling down the A390 St Austell by-pass you will approach a large roundabout with the B3273 towards Mevagissey off to the left. Immediately on the right hand side of the roundabout you will see Trevanion Lodge on your right, pull into the private car park.

The Lost Gardens of Heligan: As advertised on the television, a very popular day out just to wander around the extensive grounds and enjoy a cream tea or meal in the excellent restaurant.

Lanhydrock House: Overlooking the River Fowey, a really beautiful house and gardens.

The picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey ; enjoy a boat trip to Fowey taking in local headlands and beaches.

The Tall Ships at Charlestown and Maritime Heritage Centre: A very old port, a venue for several films.

A good choice of country pubs/restaurants for that pleasant evening meal.

A wide choice of local beaches, these can be seen on the above link.

The town centre is only a short walk away. It offers shopping, multi screen cinema, leisure centre, bus/train station.

Touring
The small market town of St Austell is situated on the south coast with numerous Local attractions. It is also mid way between the far west and far east of the county. Virtually anywhere can be reached within an hour.
As a guide:
Newquay - famous beaches, zoo, water park, extensive night life - 30 minutes

Padstow/Rock - a very popular destination with a picturesque harbour and views of the estuary across to Rock. Take the passenger ferry to Rock and enjoy a long walk by the estuary all the way to Daymler Bay . - 40 minutes.

Tintagel/Boscastle - we are moving into King Arthur country with high cliffs and little coves - 1 hour.

Truro City - excellent shopping in this small pedestrian friendly cathedral city. The cathedral is well worth a visit or why not enjoy a boat trip down the river to Falmouth , some of the views are outstanding and there is the new maritime museum to visit when you get there. - 20 minutes.

St Ives - a lovely seaside resort, very busy in high season, lots of galleries including 'The Tate'. - 45 mins.

Lands End in the far West 1 hour 15 mins.
Plymouth City in the East 1 hour

There is an excellent tourist information centre just a few hundred yards from the lodge which carries all the information one is likely to need.
