The Situation
Wickham is situated in a quiet Terrace and only a minute's walk to one of Falmouth’s premier beaches and just a 10 minute walk to the town centre.
The Accommodation
The property is tastefully furnished and decorated throughout and with its non smoking policy provides a comfortable, clean living environment to benefit the whole family.

Whether just an overnight stay or a fortnight’s holiday Wickham will always feel like home from home.

Accommodation includes both standard and full en-suite bedrooms with colour television, beverage facilities and some have sea views.

The dining room has separate tables and provides a full breakfast menu.

Guests are provided with their own keys for access to rooms at all times.

Loenter is set in two acres overlooking beautiful Cornish countryside. The Accommodation we are offering is the ground floor wing at the back of our house. We are about half a mile from Trebah Gardens and the National Trust Property'. Glendurgan. Helford Passage is within walking distance.

The front entrance of Loenter with plenty of Parking space. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project are about a forty-five minute drive away. We are also an ideal location to explore such areas as the Lizard and St. Mawes. Mawnan Smith itself is a thriving village with its own Post Office and general stores, a lovely pub an Italian restaurant and a hairdressers. Falmouth, with its new Maritime Museum is a fifteen minute drive away and Truro is about half an hour by car.

Another view of the flat showing the two patios which are exclusively for the use of visitors in their own garden area , with sun loungers and wooden table and chairs with a sun shade. There is also a rotary washing line for guests to use in this area.
This is a view from the entrance to the flat. Loenter's grounds extend to the hedge visible at the bottom of the photo. The pond is full of fish and behind the shed is a swing seat - a real sun trap in the afternoons. As one guest said "It's like stepping into a three dimensional postcard."
The lounge has double aspect windows, a three piece suite, dining table and chairs. It also has a colour TV, video and a radio cassette CD player with a selection of CDs and tapes.
The bedroom also has double aspect windows, a double and full sized single bed, a wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bed linen is provided and visitors have the choice of duvets or blankets.


The rest of The Accommodation, not shown in the photos, consists of the kitchen, with all the usual appliances, cooker, fridge and microwave and a breakfast table and chairs. The bathroom has a full sized bath with a hand held shower, toilet, hand basin, shaver point and heated towel rail. There are plenty of books, jigsaws and local information leaflets available. The Accommodation is heated by two storage heaters, oil filled radiator and an electric fire. Electricity is included in the weekly charge which range from £140- £300 per week. The accommodation is suitable for two to three people.

Falmouth is an ideal Touring centre. The vast variety of the Cornish Coastline is all within easy reach - there are many coves, beaches, towns and villages for you to explore; or visit the many beautiful private or National Trust houses and gardens open to the public, including the Eden Project .

The north east side of Falmouth offers a town full of history and picturesque narrow streets. It is also home to one of the world's largest natural deep-water harbours where you can sail, fish and take many pleasure boat tours to the River Fal, St Mawes and the nearby Helford River, home of Daphne du Maurier.
Falmouth Harbour is renowned for the Tall Ships Race and The National Maritime Museum .

South Side :

The south side is home to four lovely beaches to relax, swim or explore rock pools or, for the more energetic, diving and wind surfing.

There are amazing walks through sub tropical gardens and to Pendennis Castle .

Heath Farm 4 Star Quality Holiday Cottages

Comfortable one, two and three bedroomed cottages, tastefully converted from traditional farm buildings.

They are set around a central courtyard and are sympathetically restored using natural stone, slate and materials to reflect their original charm and character.

B ecause we wish to give our prospective guests the best possible information regarding our cottages, we have provided photographs of the interiors of our properties, together with plans of the layout.

Childrens' Play Area
We have now completed the "Rocking Horse" childrens' play area for children 4 - 14 years old. It will take your weight but you'd spoil the kids fun!!
BBQ Hire
Why not hire a BBQ for the week and take advantage of the great outdoors. You can buy Locally produced meat and eat al fresco.
A BBQ can be hired for £1 per day or £5 per week.
Cycle Hire
We have both adults and childrens cycles for hire on a daily or weekly basis.
Prices start from £3 per day but remember to bring your own helmets if you've got them
Babysitting
Our daughters are available most evenings to baby sit for you while you enjoy the local restaurants and pubs.
They charge £3 per hour.
Helston Flora Day
8th of May is Flora Day where there is dancing through the streets of Helston to the tune of the Flora Dance (Some of you may remember Terry Wogan!!). Come and enjoy the festivities.

HOW TO FIND US

From Helston, take the A3083 past Culdrose Naval Air Station. At the roundabout, take the B3293 to St. Keverne and Coverack. Drive past Goonhilly Earth Station and on to Zoar Garage. Turn right just before the garage, then take the second turning right, signposted Ponsongath and Gwenter. We are at the first farm on the right. Look for the lions on the gateposts!

Local attractions PUBS AND FOOD St Keverne - Three Tuns
St Keverne is 2.5 miles away and has two pubs. The Three Tuns is a village pub which provides good food and a variety of beers. It is popular with the locals and visitors alike.

St Keverne - White Hart
The White Hart is situated in the Square opposite the Three Tuns and it's restaurant has been awarded recognition. I haven't tried it so if you do whilst down here let any feedback would be welcome.

Breage - Queens Arms
Breage is about 10 miles away on the road between Helston and Penzance so if you are out that way Alec and Wenna will be pleased to welcome you. The Guiness is poured properly and there are a wide variety of beers on offer. The restaurant is popular and booking is recommended. Try the speciality sausages!!

SHOPS & AROUND St Keverne
There is a Londis shop for all of your immediate needs including a lottery terminal and cash dispenser.

It also has a Post Office and a newsagents which also sells small items of hardware.

Coverack
Coverack is situated 1.5 miles to the south on the coast and has a Post Office and small general store which also sells newspapers.

There is also an Art Gallery which is worth visiting with both local originals and prints to take home. A gift shop is situated in the middle of the village next door to the ice cream shop selling the famous Roskilly's ice cream.

Helston
Helston is the closest is town and has the main retailers present including Tescos which is situated on the main road from Helston to Coverack. You will pass it on your way here so it may be an idea to stock up as you go through.
