We have just two peacefully situated caravans in the garden of a genuine working farm which gives you the perfect opportunity to experience good, old fashioned farm life.

The farm itself is set in a beautifully secluded, sheltered valley with superb countryside views all around. A river runs by just opposite our front gate and is an ideal spot to watch some of our local wildlife or the sheep and cattle grazing.
Beside the caravans we have provided a small play area for the children to amuse themselves whilst you can soak up the sun and atmosphere of our relaxed way of life.
We will happily provide you with laundry services, i.e. washing machine, tumble drier, rotary clothes line and iron.
For your convenience we will also order mild, bread, eggs, meat and papers if so desired.

The accommodation:
Both caravans are Atlas Fanfare 34, three bedroom super luxury units and were brand new in 1989. There is 1 double bedroom and two twin rooms, one of which has an additional single bunk bed, so there is no need to sleep in the lounge area at all. A cot side can be fixed to one of the single beds if required.
Luxurious lounge area is complete with a television and gas heater. Naturally, the kitchen is fully equipped and has running hot water, as has the bathroom with its shower, hand basin and mains plumbed flushing toilet.
Duvets and pillows are supplied but guests are requested to bring their own bed linen and towels.

Widemouth Bay beach and  the major tourist resort of Bude are just a short drive

The area:
North Cornwall is regarded as one of the most beautiful parts of the county and we are located in its heart. Only five minutes drive away is the fabulous stretch of golden sand and crashing surf of Widemouth Bay, which also has all amenities including toilets and a shop. A further five minutes drive along the coast road brings you to Bude, the principal town of the area. Here you will find an abundance of shops and places to eat, many specialising in locally caught sea food, the town to, has a fine three mile stretch of beach at low tide.

Of the many varied activities for you to do in the area, you might like the idea of a fishing trip in one of the local fishing boats; or perhaps to see the area from a birds eye vantage point in a microlight aircraft from Davidstow Moor. Bude also has a sports hall and leisure pool should the weather disappoint and we are lucky to have the area's cinema just two minutes drive up the road. For sports fans there are local facilities for golfing, putting, squash, tennis, horse riding, coarse fishing and plenty of breathtaking coastal walks.

We regret, no dogs or pets of any kind are allowed
No large numbers of all male or all female parties will be accepted.

Local attractions:

Doc Martin country is just a few miles up the road at Port Issac. The delightful  town of Wadebridge is approximately 3 miles away. The more adventurous can explore the rugged North Cornwall coastline and the more sheltered Southern coastline leading to Fowey, Charlestown and Mevagissey.

The now famous and well advertised Eden Project is but a 30 minute drive. The wildness and solitude of Bodmin Moor, the shady walks and picnic areas of Cardinham Woods, the splendor of Lanhydrock House and Pencarrow House are all within a short drive.

Numerous sandy beaches on both coastlines are all within easy reach but the hustle and bustle can be left behind on returning to your quiet country cottage.

Pony trekking from the local riding stables allows you to explore the more intimate Local attractions.

The famous Camel Trail, ideal for walking or cycling and runs through woods and valleys alongside the River Camel all the way Padstow in one direction and up river to Wenford and Bodmin the opposite way.
