WISHING YOU A SAFE JOURNEY
Local attractions:
|
| Bude has lovely
beaches, and nearby is some of the most magnificent coastal
scenery in Britain, with rugged cliffs and colourful headlands.
Hidden coves and clean, sandy beaches abound, and you can
enjoy some wonderful walking on the coastal path. Bude offers
a range of activities including, tennis, bowls, squash, horse
riding and fishing. Bordering the town is the demanding 18
hole links course of the Bude and North Cornwall Golf Club, and
a number of other golf courses are within easy reach.
Drive South to explore the picture book fishing villages of
Port Isaac and Pot Quinn, with their narrow winding streets, or
the Victorian harbour at Boscastle, or King Arthur’s Castle and
Merlin’s Cave at Tintagel.
To the North lose yourself in the wild freedom of Harland and
the old world charm of Clovelly, with its cottages tumbling down
cobble streets to the 14th century harbour. Venture
inland, and the National Parks of Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and
Exmoor are readily accessible. |
