The Situation  
One of Mevagissey's original traditional fisherman's cottages, modernised and decorated to a very high standard, yet retaining much of its former character. Conveniently situated in the centre of the village, 2 minutes level walk from all amenities and the harbour .
The Accommodation
Newly furnished and decorated throughout, The Accommodation is on three floors:
Ground floor:
Hardwood tiled floor, combining a dining and sitting area with an adjoining fitted kitchen.
The kitchen has a generous supply of utensils/crockery/cooking equipment, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, plenty of cupboard space, washing machine and dryer.
Sitting area - comfortable seating with coffee table, wide screen television/video/sky connection.

First floor:
Bathroom with shower.
Separate toilet
Bedroom with bunk beds, wardrobe, side cupboard, fitted carpet.

Second floor:
Master bedroom with double bed.
Further television/video/sky connection.
Hi fi equipment.
Hot & cold facilities
Wardrobe/cupboard, fitted carpet.
Parking: Large car park within a two minutes walk, permit included in the price.

Directions:
A390 St Austell By-Pass. Turn off onto the B3273 signposted Mevagissey. Follow this road all the way into Mevagissey. On entering the village, follow the one way system and you will come to a 'T' junction with a small shop facing you. Turn right and after a short distance there is a small car park on your right. The cottage is just 20 yards beyond this on the right.

Boat trips, including a passenger ferry to Fowey taking in local headlands and beaches

Local beaches, (within a short drive). A link to views of all local beaches can be seen on the Mevagissey front page. These include, Portmellon, Gorran Haven, Pentewan, and Vault.
Long walks along local headlands, Dodman Point taking in Vault Beach is recommended.
St Austell town is just 10 minutes away. Good shopping, leisure centre with swimming pool, multi screen cinema, etc.

Touring
Mevagissey is about a 10 minute drive from St Austell which is regarded as probably the best Touring base in Cornwall. Virtually anywhere can be reached within an hours drive.
If you are short of ideas there is a tourist information office just a few steps from the cottage with a wide selection of literature.
