The Situation

The Packet Quays nestles by the water side, just two minutes' walk from Falmouth High Street, but is in a very private and tranquil position overlooking Falmouth Harbour. The views from the two-bed roomed apartment are stunning and there are yachts and fishing boats passing right below the windows, making picturesque viewing. Falmouth is famous for its sailing waters. Residents of Packet Quays have easy access for boating as there is a slipway from the courtyard outside Jane's Court that runs into the Harbour.

Falmouth is an interesting old town, with narrow streets and alleys to the waterside, that has retained all the charm of the old fishing port. There are excellent shops, including Marks and Spencer, fine restaurants and traditional Cornish pubs. Small ferries leave frequently from the quays nearby for sightseeing trips to Flushing, St Mawes and its castle and the famous Helford River with Daphne du Maurier's Frenchman's Creek.

This very comfortable property, built in 1985 is part of an architect's complex which has won many awards for design. The interior is decorated and furnished to a very high standard, is fully double glazed and carpeted throughout. There is gas central heating with radiators in every room and instant hot water at all times. There is a garage capable of housing a medium-sized car in the courtyard and an additional parking space nearby. The apartment is reached through a wrought iron gate to the right of the garage.
