The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the
Eden Project are about a forty-five
minute drive away. We are also an
ideal location to explore such areas
as the Lizard and St. Mawes. Mawnan
Smith itself is a thriving village
with its own Post Office and general
stores, a lovely pub an Italian
restaurant and a hairdressers.
Falmouth, with its new Maritime
Museum is a fifteen minute drive

Another view of the flat showing the
two patios which are exclusively for
the use of visitors in their own
garden area , with sun loungers and
wooden table and chairs with a sun
shade. There is also a rotary
washing line for guests to use in
this area. |
|
This is a view from the entrance to
the flat. Loenter's grounds extend
to the hedge visible at the bottom
of the photo. The pond is full of
fish and behind the shed is a swing
seat - a real sun trap in the
afternoons. As one guest said "It's
like stepping into a three
dimensional postcard." |
 |
|
 |
The lounge has double aspect
windows, a three piece suite, dining
table and chairs. It also has a
colour TV, video and a radio
cassette CD player with a selection
of CDs and tapes. |
|
The bedroom also has double aspect
windows, a double and full sized
single bed, a wardrobe and chest of
drawers. Bed linen is provided and
visitors have the choice of duvets
or blankets. |

Falmouth is
an ideal Touring centre. The vast variety of
the Cornish Coastline is all within easy
reach - there are many coves, beaches, towns
and villages for you to explore; or visit
the many beautiful private or National Trust
houses and gardens open to the public,
including
the
Eden Project .
Falmouth's exceptionally mild climate
makes a Spring or Autumn holiday most
enjoyable.
Falmouth offers two resorts in one:
North East
:
The north east side of
Falmouth offers a town full of history
and picturesque narrow streets. It is
also home to one of the world's largest
natural deep-water harbours where you
can sail, fish and take many pleasure
boat tours to the River Fal, St Mawes
and the nearby Helford River, home of
Daphne du Maurier.
Falmouth Harbour is renowned for the
Tall Ships Race and
The National Maritime Museum .
South Side :
The south side is home to four lovely
beaches to relax, swim or explore rock
pools or, for the more energetic, diving
and wind surfing.
There are amazing walks through sub
tropical gardens and to
Pendennis Castle .
