The Situation |
|
|
Primrose Cottage is situated in the very heart of
West Cornwall, half way between Land's End and the
Lizard 2 miles NW of Helston. It is close to the
superb beach of Praa Sands and the fishing harbour
of Porthleven. Is is a very convenient holiday base
to which you will enjoy returning. |

The Accommodation
|
The Cottage is built around an old miner's
cottage nestled in wooded countryside, sheltered
from all winds and a natural suntrap. The house is
surrounded by a pretty mature garden which is
available to the guests. It is away from the road,
there is a separate children's play area with
swings, slide, sandpit etc... Dogs are welcome,
suitable footpaths lead directly off the cottage.
The rooms. We can offer guests the choice of
either a double room en suite or two double rooms
with H+C sharing a bathroom. The rooms overlook the
garden and have tea/coffee making facilities and
colour televisions. The guests have their own
entrance to the house and their own key allowing
them to go as they please.
We serve a cooked or continental breakfast in our
dining room or in the garden is the weather is
suitable and the guests are agreeable to it. |

From Primrose Cottage less than 10 minutes
by car will take you to the famous Praa
Sands and the neighbouring beaches,
Flambards theme park, Poldark mine, Helston
and the pretty fishing harbour of Porthleven
. Twenty minutes will take you to most of
the other favourite destinations of West
Cornwall, Penzance, Mousehole, the Lizard,
St Ives, St Michael's Mount etc... Another
10 minutes and you will reach Land's End.

practical side Helston ( 2 miles ) has
a fair selection of shops. Porthleven ( 2
miles ) has a good fish shop, several take-aways,
harbourside pubs and restaurants. We are
surrounded by four other pubs which accept
children. |
