Directions
The map shows where Trebarber farm is located relative
to Newquay and the coast.
The recommended route is:
From the A30 shortly after the Bodmin By-pass you will
go under an iron bridge (height restricted to 14' 3'').
Shortly after the iron bridge you will see a right turn
towards St Mawgan airfield/St Columb Major. Take this
turning and follow th road to a large roundabout, take
the 2nd turning left onto the A3059, follow for about 3
miles and look out for a left turn to Porth reservoir,
turn left here for 200 yards and we can clearly be seen.

Towan Beach
Situated within a stones throw of the town centre.
The most sheltered all Newquay’s beaches and the
most suitable for young children.
The sand is very smooth and as the whole beach is
tidal is very compact and suitable for ball games
A shallow tidal swimming pool (as seen above) is
situated under the Island and very popular with
children.
Toilets/refreshments/deck chairs available on the
beach front. |
