Trebarber Farm is hidden in quiet but
scenic countryside just 2 miles north of Newquay. It is
tucked away from the hustle and bustle of holiday
traffic, ideal for the country lover who also wants to
visit Cornwall's premier resort.
Just off the A3059 and close to the A30, near Newquay
airport, Trebarber is easily accessible and within easy
reach of all the major towns and attractions.
The 400 year old farmhouse is in the center of the
complex and help is at hand to offer both advice and
guidance.
Trebarber is no longer a working farm, however there are
plenty of animal closeby, not forgetting the constant
stream of wild life, badgers, foxes, bats, hedgehogs
etc. Various birdlife include buzzards, woodpeckers,
swallows, to mention but a few.

Down the lane, within half a mile is the Porth
reservoir, an area open for coarse fishing and bird
watching. Golf and Horse riding are close by, rambling
along these quiet lanes is also a pleasant way to spend
an afternoon. If you can, it is worth making the effort
to come in the Spring or early summer and autumn, these
months are an abundance of colour and wildlife, usually
topped up with good weather. The winter months can be
quite mild, but the winds can be quite invigorating.
Directions
The map shows where Trebarber farm is located relative
to Newquay and the coast.
The recommended route is:
From the A30 shortly after the Bodmin By-pass you will
go under an iron bridge (height restricted to 14' 3'').
Shortly after the iron bridge you will see a right turn
towards St Mawgan airfield/St Columb Major. Take this
turning and follow th road to a large roundabout, take
the 2nd turning left onto the A3059, follow for about 3
miles and look out for a left turn to Porth reservoir,
turn left here for 200 yards and we can clearly be seen.
