The Situation |
Situated at the head of the Lizard
Peninsula in unspoilt countryside with
panoramic rural views.
The picturesque village of Penarth and
Stithians Lake are within a short drive.
All essential supplies can be obtained
nearby. |

The Accommodation
|
Two self catering units tastefully
converted from an old wool store barn.
Completed in 1999 and a succession of
visitors throughout the Summer
thoroughly enjoyed their stay and were
impressed with the standard of
accommodation. Children particularly
love it, they can help feed the ducks
and chickens, collect eggs, bottle feed
the baby goats and any orphan lambs, as
well as playing with our dogs and
ponies. It is a safe environment for
children, well away from roads and
traffic, and a quiet and peaceful place
for adults who just want to get away
from it all.
The units are the same size but with
slightly differing lay-outs.
Both have open plan lounge, kitchen and
dining areas.
The lounge area has comfortable sofas
and chairs, fireplace with electric
fire, colour television, video and
stereo.
The kitchens are very well equipped with
full size cookers, fridge freezer,
microwave, kettle toasters etc. plus
plenty of crockery utensils and pans.
There are two double bedrooms, one
having a double bed and two singles the
other having a double bed and bunk beds.
The bathrooms have a bath with electric
shower.
Every effort is made to make the barns a
home from home with a selection of books
and video’s on the shelves and pictures
on the walls and a few toys for our
younger guests.
The beds have duvets and pillows and all
bed linen is supplied. The background
heating is by storage radiators in the
lounge kitchen and bedrooms, and the
units are very well insulated and are
therefore very warm. Downstairs there
is a laundry room with washing machine
and dryer, irons and ironing boards are
supplied for each unit. |

In the evenings there are many Inns and

most places have a wide selection on
there menus. Please ask Mick or Sue,
