swimming, walking or fishing or just relaxing on our local
beaches. For those more culturally minded there are historic
fishing villages, historic homes and gardens as well as the
Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan, both only 40

Beaches Closeby
PORTWRINKLE
Two shale - sandy beaches widely used in
favourable conditions for surfing. Small harbour
and many interesting rock pools to paddle in and
explore.
KINGSAND AND CAWSAND
Good beaches in both villages with ample off
street Parking.
FREATHY AND TREGANTLE
Excellent, sandy beaches stretching 6 miles
along the bay. You may need to climb down steep
rocks.
DOWNDERRY AND SEATON
Miles of sandy beach with easy access. Good
